Dive Eden is a locally operated dive business on the Sapphire Coast, offering personalised training, guided dives, and ocean experiences for all levels. Our focus is on safety, confidence‑building, and creating memorable underwater adventures in one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal regions. We’re known for our calm, supportive approach and welcoming atmosphere.
MEET THE TEAM
Jayde
Marine Educator & Dive Leader
Jayde is a certified freediving and scuba diving instructor, and the owner‑operator of Dive Eden. With years of experience teaching and guiding in Australian waters, She brings a calm, supportive approach to every dive. Her goal is to make diving accessible, enjoyable, and safe for everyone — from first‑time students to experienced divers exploring Eden’s unique marine life.
With a background in biology, Jayde brings a strong foundation in marine science to every course and guided experience, and is passionate about connecting people to the ocean through hands‑on conservation and education. She has led community science initiatives across the Sapphire Coast, including the Sea Slug Census, marine debris surveys, and local monitoring projects such as Reef Life Surveys, sea dragon and urchin barren monitoring.
Grattan
Scuba Instructor & Dive Guide
Grattan has been diving since 1999 and instructing on the Sapphire Coast since 2001. He likes inquisitive octopus and cuttlefish, and cheeky moray eels. He also enjoys encounters with large pelagics (yes, sharks) and wreck diving.
When he’s not diving, Grattan enjoys motorcycling, playing guitar, and trying to improve his golf game.

Daniel
Scuba Instructor & Dive Guide
Daniel is an SSI Dive Master with 400+ dives under his belt, most of them right here on the Sapphire Coast. Raised on a yacht, the ocean has always felt like home. A keen traveller, he is always ready for the next adventure joining Dive Eden’s annual trips to places like Raja Ampat, Fiji and Philippines. Whether guiding new divers or exploring new sites, Daniel’s favourite part of the job is spotting interesting marine life.
Sade
Trainee
Sade is currently completing her school-based traineeship with us while finishing high school, alongside her Certificate Ill in Tourism through TAFE. She's new to diving but already a confident snorkeller with a genuine passion for the ocean and its marine life.
Keen to grow her skills, Sade hopes to become a marine conservationist and future scuba instructor, turning her love for the underwater world into a lifelong career.

MEDIA & RESEARCH
Dive Eden is actively involved in citizen science and local marine research, contributing observations and data to projects such as Reef Life Survey, the annual Sea Slug Census, and urchin population monitoring. Our team is composed of highly trained professionals with extensive practical diving experience and a deep understanding of the marine environment. We’re always happy to share this knowledge to enhance your diving experience and introduce you to the conservation work happening along the Sapphire Coast. Our contributions support scientists and conservation groups across the region, helping build a clearer picture of local marine health.
We’re also proud to be featured in local media and community science initiatives, including interviews and research collaborations that highlight the importance of our coastline and the species that call it home.
